In three weeks, on October 20th, I will return to Israel for three weeks of volunteer service on an Israeli Army base through the organization known as Sar-EL, a part of the Israeli Army. I volunteered for two weeks last year and found it to be a most rewarding experience.
During my volunteer service I will have weekends off to travel Israel, I plan on a weekend each in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Following my volunteer service I will have a week to tour the North of Israel. I will write as I experience things and post pictures of what I see. I hope you enjoy this and feel free to post your comments on this blog. I will be visiting some of the same places I went last year, particularly in Jerusalem's Old City and surrounding areas.
